the fuzz is a PWM that i built a while ago - pretty neat sounds!
it may be available for the holidays... i'm trying my hardest to get it out ASAP.

gain/drive - goes from totally clean > full on fuzz, with many shades of overdrive in-between
high cut - a simple passive filter to roll off some of the high end
crackle - dynamically controlled crackle/sag/amp fuckage

oh i forgot to add that there will also be some cool switching options!
a momentary stompswitch that turns on/off the crackle, depending on which way you have the a toggle switch set.
soooo. you could use it like this.

toggle set to crackle off > on:
you're playing through the pedal and it acts like a normal OD/fuzz and for the second verse or whatever you hold down the momentary switch and your sound gets kind of fucked up, let go and you're back to full power for the chorus.

toggle set to crackle on > off:
pedal sound is fucked for a weird intro or something, then hold down for the start to get some regular sounds.

i could also substitute a regular stompswitch if people would be into just switching on/off the crackle rather than momentarily having it on or off. i'll leave it as an option!

I just played that Overdrive prototype.
you dudes are gonna be real stoked. it sounds really, really, really great.
it's got a personality all on its own, and the only thing it has in common with a tube screamer is the green color.

*boards are tested and sounding FUCKING BAD ASS.
*during my final tweaking i ended up cutting just a wee bit of bass as it was pretty overpowering. much better now - still super full (tested on bass as well ) but not so woofy.
*still need to test for the expression pedal input. i know it would be incredible to have, but it's just a matter of making sure it'll work well. i just got a moog ep2 to test with last week!

seriously, i don't pat myself on the back too much, but i'm really pleased with the way this pedal has come out.
