Our drummer also reps the broken crash cymbal. Something about a shorter decay and less resonance so he can pound the heck out of it and not have it last overlong.

Ah, spring, a time of renewal, and cleaning. I celaned up the space, with a very little bit of help form the rest of the band.

We said goodbye to The Bassman, as it is now robert Og's bassman.

Head on floor because it was making NOISES against the cab.

We laid down bass for "from God" which is pretty damn poppy. So I threw on about 3 minutes of drones and glitches to the end of it ahhaha. We also recorded 3 part vocal lines, and it's SO DAMN GOOD I want to leak it, but the vocals are only half done, so i really really shouldn't.

Matt also had an idea for a quick keyboard part, so we laid that down, but I was like, "I have a super cool idea."

We ran the keys through a Disaster Fuzz, which if you are not familiar with, oscillates when you're not playing, so it kind of droned away at a B type pitch, until the keyboard line was done, and I tuned it way up until it stopped, and then the Radio came through the pedal.
"TRUCK BUYERS, THIS ONE'S FOR YOU!" We kept it.
We then time traveled back to 1976

The next day, I did this:

Because my beard was getting caught in my zippers and shit.

I have taken the liberty of uploading a track (in progress) from my defunct band's recorded antics.
It features ME on the baritone guitar on the right, the slightly low tuned guitar on the left, the sappy ass vocals, and i think i twiddled some knobs ere adn there. Right guitar (BAritoned Squier Tele custom II)goes through -- POG, Stereo Memory man, Devi Ever TP, and Wah. NOt all at the same time. Into Twin reverb reissue with one fucked up speaker Crying or Very sad
Left Guitar (50's classic tele) goes through a heavily modded Great Destroyer and them the Twin. LOUD. I htink I might have hit the reverb once or twice?
Matt "Living goddamn drummer joke" Haapala on the drums and keyboards. KBs are run through Devi Ever DF and then doubled, one is pitch shifted.
Jordan "I punched matt in the face and got kicked out" Lee on bass. The bass went through the BASSMAN!

Song rocks Aen, only thing I'd like is for the vocals to cut through a bit more. Besides that, the ending made my ear orgasm at least five times. I was just about to record a song and this rather inspired me, i was just going to do an acoustic demo but now I want to make it electric!

I'm really digging this. It reminds me of TV On The Radio, and Parts & Labor, and other things that make my ears happy.
