You didn't need to remove them, dobo. I don't think anyone that posted was being very serious about their ridicule...& if they were, fug 'em

This was without the diode and larger caps for both. Was sounding like a crunchy overdrive at the time.
Was doing the pick sensitive thing....with just the right resistor it was close to usable.
