Right on, Jon, glad to hear you're enjoying the pedal! I like that concentric circles finish, there's only a few like that out there.

Let me know what you think of using your Cleanness to tame your Orange, Kev!

We had a hard time with those picture labels but we had to make a change from all the laborious labeling. I feel like the tone symbols are really intuitive but gain and volume aren't as much... it's like the gain and master volume of an amplifier.

I have the pedal on my current pedal board and it responds really nicely with my current equipment setup. I'm using it as a para mostly again. I love that use! It easily boosts the signal loss of having 5 or 6 pedals on your board. It's just really versatile. I love this pedal and it keeps making it's way back on to my board.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.

Awesome pic, thanks for posting it!

It makes my day when people dig the usefulness of the Cleanness... we haven't made very many in our 5 years, not even 200 yet, but I still think they kick butt. Thank you, Baxandall!

What is your best selling pedal, Ryan, may I ask? Is it the RRR?

You betcha you can ask, Danny, and you betcha it's the RRR! We've made about 1500 RRRs, 800 of the big box style... geez that was a lot of surface mount soldering. SDD and Tremolessence are next with about 400 of each. In 2011 we'll be making a lot of Tremolessences, I predict!

I can promise you'll be making one for me. :thumb:

I thought the SDD would have been the least favourite because it's the one I hear so little about. I guess, though, because it's a delay, and has been around for a good few years, people have considered it in high regard.

I want one. :erm:

Our least favourite/worse seller was always the Woofer Wailer, we've made about 90 of them... and I'm happy about that, I like that our only clone was the worst seller. (Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome TS clone, I just like that people want our other pedals more.)

I don't mean to disrespect other builders, but I'd feel the same if I were one myself. I'd personally prefer to have my own unique designs to be the ones that folks appreciate the most. Clones are... clones. They're often better than the original, but not always. But the original is always the same as the original, you know.

Right, I meant no disrespect to clones either, I think that definitely has its place especially when it's things that you can't get any more from the original manufacturer. But doing a TS was just never a big passion for me.. I only ever did it because a guy in a music store convinced me it was an important pedal to add to my line, back in 2005. He was wrong!

For me it's just a lot more exciting and rewarding to work with a bread board and components from scratch, although it's a lot more frustrating and time consuming too.

Not bad for a couple turkeys in their basement, hey! Unless you mean it is bad.. and we've been slacking off like crazy all these years...
