But you're supposed to listen to both sides of Dronevil at the same time

True, but it still sound cool of that CD... I have Dronevil CDs as well as vinyl

you can load both CD in to a multi track program and get the real deal. I'd get my sister to try the vinyl version on her rig but it's set up for DJing not really high quality playback and the record set took a LONG time to track down.

I want the Flood CD but it's like $35 the few times I've seen it...never seen the vinyl. If I had some extra money, maybe, but...that's a bit too much. You can kill yourself buying Boris albums.
(plus I personally find the first track kind of annoying until the drums come in)

You have to get in the right frame of mind... I like it, you get all zoned out like you are floating and then the drums are like waves.
Heavy Metal me has a really good live vid of flood without the super long intro, there is also a live vid of feedbacker on it as ell.

Yeah definitely, I know what you mean. It's just that sometimes I don't have the patience for that and skip to get to parts 2/3/4.
Flood is excellent for when you're about to go to sleep. The parts to me do feel like a flood washing away everything. They each have their own feel and represent a different stage of the wave and result.
And other times I imagine the album as telling a story set in a half-submerged city. The imagery I get is kind of like the city settings in Evangelion

I'll check out those vids

I thought the score they did for the limits of control was pretty awesome and really fitting for the movie. That is pretty much my only experience with Boris. I've been meaning to get something from them for a while now. They sound pretty awesome form what I've heard.

Not sure if its a good thing or not

Russian Circles, Cave In, Boris.
It. Was. An. Awesome. Show.
(Kind of thought that Cave In should have been the first opener though. In my opinion Russian Circles is a much better band.)
