I'm glad you are enjoying it.

My initials are FW, which is why I sometime use "EffDub" on projects. ;)

I've been meaning to make your vorpal for so long now. Plan on making a bunch once I do :thumb: . Funny you should mention, "effdub," I only recently (about 2 weeks ago) put 2&2 together and figured that out

I'm considering doing a proper PCB run of those. That and the WTF octave fuzz. :)

I have a tendency to hang on to all my gear (the only gear I've ever sold is a Gibson Les Paul Studio and a Boss MT-2), but if I to sell all my gear except for one item, I'd definately keep my Strat Plus. Got it for my thirteenth birthday, which means I'll have had it for fifeen years in one week (damn I'm gettting old).

My late 70's Sunn Concert Lead. I've had it for seven years and just discovered the bright channel. Holy shit.

My 1963 Fender Jaguar. I got it for my 18th birthday, back before the stupid vintage fender prices took these out of the range of ordinary folks. Sounds like heaven.

I have so much gear that I'm sometimes ashamed, although I do have a hard rule that I won't keep what I don't use, and there's an insane amount of turnover each year

But regardless there are certainly some pieces that are very close to my heart, that I won't ever part with.

Here's my "cold, dead hands" stuff -

Callaham S-Model guitar
Swart AST Mk.II amp
Teaspoon CAS
Wiard 300 synthesizer
BugBrand Modular synth
Metasonix TM/TX Series modules

i modded a Devi Ever Bit Mangler into a pandora's box of ripping fuzz overdrive goodness.... after 36 hours of owning it i HAD to get rid of it....

http://ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php?f=149&t=9254&start=0&hilit=manglestein

not a day goes by i don't regret getting rid of it.... but i knew it was for the better, i'd be a drooling vegetable by now...

the only pedal that survived the great sell-off of '10 was the Dr. Scientist RRR that i absolutely will not sell or trade, no matter the offer....

I've got a similar story. I got my Strat Plus for my 12th birthday, making it about 15 years I have had it, and will never sell that thing no matter what happens. My White Light will probably never leave my hands either, it was my first boutique pedal and has taken a beating in the short time I have owned it.

I'm not sure. I've already had to sell of some things that I said I would never get rid of. Right now its safe to say that my univox and silvertone amps, fh absynth, mke magnetar, and my "not so fuzzrite" I built in an old walco sustainer enclosure, all will not be going anywhere. Along with my p-bass I built that's currently headless

I'd say my MM Sting Ray 5 HH that I got as a high school graduation present from my grandparents.
Also, my BA Ferguson custom bass. It was my master plan (read: vague idea) brought to life and the first bass completely payed for by me.
