I was having the same thoughts about how well the ekdahl would work with guitar too, but to be honest I don't think I care. It looks like a ton of fun just playing with the springs and fiddling with the knobs without even having anything plugged into it. This thing has definately been added to my gas list, but there are other things that I should probably get first (like a new amp). Although If I buy a new amp that doesn't have reverb, maybe that will force me to get the ekdahl.

The Chicklet does self-oscillation-type sounds. It's wonderful at that, amongst other things.
