Forum rules
The DIY forum is for personal projects (things that are not for sale, not in production), info sharing, peer to peer assistance. No backdoor spamming (DIY posts that are actually advertisements for your business). No clones of in-production pedals. If you have concerns or questions, feel free to PM admin. Thanks so much!

Using the elements is good. i use the "Clear Shoe Box Method".
Go to the $.99, Dollar store or even Wal-mart type places. Buy the clear shoe box-sized storage boxes. On a sunny day, flip the box so the lid is on the painting surface. I use little wood blocks to hold up the pedals and place them on the lid. Paint a coat and place the "Box bottom" over the enclosures.
Serves 2 purposes. A. Keeps dust, debris and bugs off the drying aint. B. The box will heat up in the sun and have a toaster oven-like baking effect on the paint.
Works well for me.
Plus you can get 8-10 boxes for the price of a toaster oven and paint a bunch at a time, without waiting for shifts with the toaster oven.
