you can set the goatkeeper to act like a pick sensitive kinda trem
pretty cool
but expensive yes

Great idea!
I'd want the envelope follower to adjust the depth of the trem, not the speed. I'd want to set my speed to a fixed rate (for a certain song, for example) and then let the picking dynamics dictate the depth of the effect.
Here's a cool project that has a voltage-controlled envelope filter:
http://circuitworkshop.com/forum/index.php?topic=235.0You could steal the envelope section for your tremolo, perhaps.

If you made exactly what you just described, we have a deal. Personally, I don't require anything more....maybe an expression for rate when in normal trem mode, but that'd just be the icing....don't need icing

Sounds like a trem I would use, you taking pre orders?

I had an idea for a trem today that would compliment yours. PM me if you would like to collaborate.

How about an inverse switch to go from heavier = rate faster >< heavier = rate slower?

This

And this

Now that'd be something I could use!

Yea, that would be great, no doubt

Incidentally..isn't there already a tremolo with pick-sensitive depth? it just came out, but it's the Vicious Cricket by Flickinger Tone-Boxes.
you can find info at flicktonebox.com
(I have no affiliation with the company, just trying to get the info out there)
