Geez. I'm not drunk, but I've had some drinks, and I just listened to this song for the shit of it.
LAWD did this guy know his chords or what? He's just everywhere with basic chords, and his melodies totally friggin' melt from one chord to the next.

dude i'm a huge elliott smith fan and i know exactly what you mean. he's so freaking good with chords. and this song in particular has one of my favorite leads because i literally have no fucking clue how he does that crazy ascending harmonic-sounding note run thing.
