Bass or guitar amp the watts are the same loudness if amp is of the same type of amp, i.e. SS or tube. I have a 20 watt bass amp that can keep up with a drummer in small places but it is tube. It's a old Fender and I think I got it in a pawn shop for around $250ish.

In that case, it would likely do you fine. Yea, heard of mako amps, but nothings popping into my mind other than knowing the name.

So,I finally got to play thru the Mako 50 watter I scored for a mere 50.00. All I can say is,
HOLY FUCKING FUCK!!!!!!I am completely floored at how responsive it is! I've yet to play with any pedals run into it. But with the finger picking I do,it kills. The key to the tones is the presence control. At noon,it makes my dick hard. The amp itself is solid state,but GAWD IT RAWRKS!!!! Tube-like responsiveness all the way. I'm thinking a nice tube-driven overdrive pedal will be tits through it. And I can't wait to get back home so I can check it out with fuzz. Best 50.00 I ever spent
