The instructions are already posted on the site if you're not clear on what it does.
Fast: Freezes input when you step on the switch, stops when you let go Slow: Freeze fades in when you step on, fades out when you let go-- speed is configurable Latch: Holds input when you step on the switch, stops when you press it again
Bill Ruppert (the effectology guy) said on talkbass that its different from the Boss hold modes because it takes a much shorter sample and smoothes out the attack and decay out so its not jerky or sounding like an echo. It just sounds like an infinite note, which I could honestly never get the Boss delays to do well. And then it has the two different decay speeds, so it fades out gradually instead of just stopping.
I have been wanting this for a long time ...even tho I didn't know it existed, but apparently scientists believe the future can influence the past, maybe, so somehting like that.)
ILF pedals: DE Eye of God, Mellowtone Wolf Computer, Mellowtone Singing Tree LE, Fuzzhugger Arc Flash Oscillator, DSc Miniberator, Mysterious J boost/cut/tremolo pedal
Saw this, my face literally melted like I just drunk out the wrong cup of christ in indiana jones... Fucking want... with Pog, Chorus and Volume Swells
Asking alot... the Pog etc. are huge advances in the guitar world, while in MIDI they'd be sniffed at, an analog signal with so much variation is hard to control, what they're doing is most likely incredibly impressive for such a small package, you're looking at large eventide gear to do much more.

You can do that with the HOG, so I'm gonna assume you can do that with this. I bet that when you press the switch, it just freezes a note and you can just play over it.
