I have the Axis Fuzz, and it's not really that great for big walls of sound, better for jangly shoegaze chords though.

I have an axis fuzz too... the fact its good for "jangly shoegaze chords" means thats its fairly decent for shoegaze >.>

Haha, it's an amaaaazing pedal.
It does start to sound 'big' with the fuzz knob around 3/4 onwards, best sounding rocket ever.

I left my axis fuzz plugged in overnight last night by accident, its lost a huge amount of ouput but it sounds awesome!!! gonna have to replace the battery sadly though...
I personally think its the best yeah, but i still want an octavia, and a mongoose.

The shoegazer wasn't shoegaze-y enough for my liking, but I do like the aenima with a rat in the loop. And the chalice and great wall look like they would do the job pretty well.

yeah, i completely agree about the Shoegazer, it sounds great, but it doesn't seem aptly named in my opinion. And cause i'm a noob, does verb>rat>muff mean i would put reverb before the muff (closer to guitar)?
