HA that's badass, i actually never seen a Flying V bass before.... i just recently played with a flying V guitar (in Guitar Center, ehh) and i never understood the enthusiasm for them but now i freaking love it.... granted my impulses were quickly dashed by the realization that my debt is the end result of ten years of impulse buys.... anybody need a slightly used Slam Man, Ab Cruncher, Juice Man or 247 pocket knives.....???

For me when I first started playing and I first saw a V it was like "now that is a ELECTRIC guitar!", my first guitar was a V too [it's in the SYG thread, it's white] so yeah I love the things, and they really have their own sound to them, their shape acts kind of like a tuning fork, play one really hard and or make one feed back and you will see what I mean.

I love Vs... I'm trying to convince my friend, who's in an increadibly hipster-esque indie band, to get one... XD

Neither! It is a Burny from Japan. These basses were from all I can tell never exported to the States, or at least not very many of them. From all accounts I read about Burny it's going to be on par or better then a Gibson. So this is a used bass I found on e-bay and am having it shipped from Japan.
