I got a kitten recently, and she's taken a liking to my music. She curiously stares into my speakers when I'm synthing and falls asleep in my lap when I play guitar. I love that something so simple makes me feel so joyous and peaceful.
& I just had my first jam with a musician in my neighborhood who is into polyrhmic fingerpicking and alternate tunings and it went well
Feeling very fortunate right now.

Just get wasted and enjoy the sensory overload until you can't take it anymore and it's time to go.

Homie, uber it. It probably won't cost a lot, save you the hassle and worry, and Boston is not a DWI friendly state.
Uber is like the greatest thing to ever happen to my friends that drink and need to travel 15 minutes to get to their local bars.

For real. We have "Lyft" too. Get hammered and tell some poor bastard about how great you are at dancing while he drives you home.

LOL I meant MA. Sorry!!
But seriously, using the NJ metric, $20-$25 for ride is significantly better than a $10,000 fine and suspended license for 90 days AND possible jail time (some counties have to give you a jail sentence, that's the only variable. But here in NJ 1st offense is the two aforementioned punishments).
Obviously excluding more dire consequences cause this is the happiness thread. Sorry!!!

That doesn't really count as a local bar, now does it?

I see where you are coming from but the reality is, where I live, a lot of my friends have to travel upwards of 15 minutes to go to 'their closest bar'.

that's horrible, how can people be allowed to live like that? We should start a charity to fix that

whoa, for real? In wisconsin, your first offense was under $1k and you keep your license. It takes 3x DUIs to lose your license. We really like drinking here.
