It's kind of odd seeing so many of my own personal pictures on a single post...

I'm not in them myself, but I took several of them between 1982 and 1985. The previous post ("I'M SWIMMIN") I do appear in a couple of them... :)

Yesterday 2 of my guitars had perfectly straight necks. Today they are bowed. Thank you, polar vortex or whatever they're calling it.

It's all good brother man :thumb: After going back and forth on it, I decided to bite (assuming the guy still sells it to me, ha!). Something about an Orange head and two orange cabs is too awesome not to do. Plus, if I don't like it, I will go back to just running the V4. I'm thinking, though, about running the AD140 into one cab and slamming it with the Revelation and running the V4 into the other with the Badascan in full effect.

We are going to be too loud. :thumb:

EDIT- Bought. Sheeyit yeah. Should be here next week. Looks like I'm gonna be wiring one of my cabs back to 16 ohms :thumb:

Try before you buy if you can. I think Conky has an Orville LP. I have heard nothign but good things. If it was a good price I would probably take the leap.

I do, and it's my favorite guitar. Practically plays itself.

EDIT:

I always like to try before I buy, but I found this one on ebay and took a chance. The seller was from Japan and it got to me faster than anything that I have ever ordered from Musicians Friend. The craftsmanship on the older ones (mine is an 80s I believe) is way better than what Gibson is doing now and the pickups sound so good. Fuzz is nice and thick, cleans are the best out of any guitar I have now. The only guitar I had that had better cleans was a 72 Tele Deluxe. I don't even know what kind of pickups are in it now but they sound like PAF's are described. People collect the shit out of these things so I don't think you'd lose money on a flip if you ended up not getting along with it. (But I think you'd dig it).

It's this one. I've had some good and bad ebay buys, but this dude seems fairly solid.

let me know how you go with the ordering from Japan...i've always wanted some guitars that are only sod in japan, but didnt take the chance, and also assumed i would be hit with all types of fees.
