In good condition? Probably worth 900 bucks.
The one I was looking at sold, sadly. BUT I found one for just under a grand with a road case. It's in SUPER good condition. It's a lot of money, but I feel like I can probably flip it. Maybe I'll drink enough whisky tonight to convince myself to buy it.

You're almost certainly not going to lose money on that flip. Not to push you one way or the other, of course.

Altec 417-8H, a swamp thing, and two G12K 100's went in. Sounds great now. I'm putting the 16 ohms speakers up on CL for sale or trade.
My question to you guys is what should I ask for in trade value and quality wise?
I'd like to try something new.
I'd really like to help take these off your hands. Alas, can't afford the shipping.
Also, right before I went to be last night, someone was selling some old 2x12 that had g12-m70s in it for $100, in sydney. I was gonna email him today and ask if he;d just take out the speakers and mail em up to me.
Mother fucker got snagged. Knew I shoulda jumped it straight up.

Do it.

Whiskey is almost always useful in making financial decisions.

That guy had it posted on the BST here a while back. If I had the money I woulda bought it off of him. He wanted to trade his head for my JCM800 and then changed his mind. I bet that thing sounds awesome. Plus with a road case and the head as in good of condition as it is I don't think you'll lose money on a flip if you don't get along with it.

That would be Frank! He's a great guy, he's the one who bought my HiWatt. Killer dude and killer player, his board is nuts!! I would definitely trust an amp from him.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited. It is one thing that will soon be marked off of my bucket list. I've always wanted to have a release on vinyl.

That's a good resolution on a bucket list. I don't think anything I've recorded has ended up on vinyl, there's one that will probably end up on vinyl and a couple that were supposed to be but nothing to my knowledge has actually gone to fruition. I hope this is just your first my friend!!!

Fuck yeah, man. I'm right there with ya -- when we put out the 10" split with the Unbeheld, I was beyond pumped. Next goal: have a full length pressed on vinyl.

I'm so old, my first release came out on vinyl and cassette. A few years sooner and we might've had an option for 8-track.
