I got some new pets ...

"Red Dragon" and "Ginormous" varieties!
The Ginormous one is supposed to get pretty big, aptly.

Why don't they cast previous actors of roles as villains in new versions? Like Sean Connery. Why didn't he get to play a bond villain? I'm sure he wanted to.. why else was he in the Avengers?

Honest question, does anyone have advice for applying for jobs when you're willing to relocate? I've sent out, according to Indeed, about 500 applications over the past couple of months, and all I've heard from are $8 call center/landscaping/factory jobs that I've been trying to escape for the past 5 years
Edit: got contacted by a writing service. They gave me a prompt. I'm pretty sure they want me to write erotica.

Thanks for the cool new sites!
It was actually noiseguide, which I guess went down and now is called noisewiki.
Also, today I scored an engine hoist off the side of the road! It's really sturdily built, looks like it's from the 80s and can lift up to 2 tons. You should have seen me drag that fucking thing (most of it anyway) into the back of my little car. I had to have it though. Scariest drive home I've ever done, and that's including the time I seriously hauled ass at 4 AM to air-cool the engine after coolant leaked everywhere...
It just needs a new piston thing, and they're like $50. Worth it.

I am by no means an expert, but I’ve moved twice for work. Once from Utah to Portland, and again from Portland to Seoul. The first time was because I got a contracting job with a company that fills tech jobs worldwide. So, they just send you wherever they need you, and I applied for work after moving.
The second time was networking. Cold-calling for jobs is almost impossible, and I had the exact same experience doing what you’re doing now. Honestly, I think the best thing to do would be to try and network your way to where you wanna go? If you know somebody in the place where you live, see if they know anybody who’s hiring?
Another option would be to contact a contracting company that hires for positions like what you’re trying to find. Contact them, let them know you want to move to the area and let them know what your qualifications are. They can probably help you find something when you land, and that way you’ll have work and income while you find something better.
