i believe the newest builds of the lsd have been tweaked to be more bass friendly. i think they have an additional frequency toggle maybe?
Yep! Makes a HUGE difference! I believe I was the first one to get one with the toggle and mine is like #36???
Something like that.
Did anyone make a demo?

Excane did you?

I've been intrigued by one but the low end being killed, made me hesitate.

My Mountainking boner has been getting bigger lately.

I don't have anything to get a good recording.. I could possibly record something with my roommate though.
The "position 2" toggle allows more low frequencies at the output as well as through the feedback loop.
It's still not like.. BEEFY.. it just maintains the lows better! "position 1" pretty well sucks all the low end out.. haha.
Back when I first started wanting one Alan knew I play bass primarily and would always try and talk me out of it.. I just decided to get it anyway after awhile... in the email he sent telling me it was shipping, he said that he added a toggle! I was mega stoked!

I scored an old big box Decomposer, Ruckus (one knobber!) and old big box Megalith! so excited!

I bought a magnetar and it's dead nuts quiet. Are all of his pedals like that? I couldn't believe it with how much fucking gain it has on tap. I have my amp at like 1.5 and the thing can raise my grampa's wang.

Wait are you saying it's loud or quiet. LOL! I'm confused. All of his pedals are insanely fucking loud.

what he means by quiet is that they don't make noise when you're not playing ;)

AHHHH! The Heavy Machine does for some reason. That's the ONLY one I've had that with. Well the Megalith can on extreme settings. The Magnetar and Decomposer are by far his quietest. Well and the Stone 128. :) LOL

Bro don't come at me with all that jidgeahertz talk. I just know that when daddy clicks on the tiny circles of light it drowns out all the voices.

I know I'm running the Huge Box on the subby, rubbery, more massive and darker side... but yeah. Even stacked it's pretty good as far as noise goes... and I do feel like that's quite heavy on gain too :)

if anyone has a Magnetar to trade for a Hoof Reaper, please hit me up

I think d.o.s already asked about this, but does anybody have a freq lsd they'd like to send on an international holiday? Would love to try one, but it's kinda pricey and it seems Mountainkings international shipping price is pretty steep as well.

I'd pay for shipping both ways and include Norwegian candy. :joy:

Is there really a new one??? You just fucking me with bro. I just look. LOL.

I don't mind some feedback noise. it makes you play faster because you want that noise gone. hahaha
