I'm not a fuzz head but the Source Audio EQ I got on the weekend made me spent more than 10 minutes with a fuzz pedal for the first time ever.
It has 4 presets so I can make my fuzz pedals sound different somehow without changing its character too much, just making it usable for guitars.

Time to change my signature.

To celebrate here's more whatever!

More of the CooperFX AARP, this time in song form. Loving this thing, and I only have it for a few more days.

Here's a rock track with it, not a lot of complex movement going on, just what I did on sunday instead of doing things like buying food and responsibilities.

Stems:
Lets start with the Bass. Mixed in kind of quietly, but it's a rapid cycle of close pitches so that you get that neat little warble effect. There is only one bass track, so that added layer of tone is the AARP

Arpeggio stem. The most obvious use of the AARP. Giving the whole track some movement. AARP is set to the minor scale and somewhat timed to the temp. This is my only real annoyance with the AARP. I wish the tap tempo would be length of time for the whole cycle versus the length of each step, since I seem to mainly use it for quicker cycles. That is a personal thing though. I'm using a dry space echo output to get the tape to compress the tone and get the sustain plus tape hiss through the arp to naturally swell in after the two note phrase.

Rhythm Track. Same settings as the Arpeggio, but more hidden and reserved. You can hear it going in the background. This is all one track except the chorus and bridge are double tracked.

Same settings but more hidden. You can only hear it really kick in only on the long sustained notes.

If anybody wants to meet Roger Linn, he will be at Perfect Circuit Audio in Burbank, CA on Friday (Oct 23) from 5pm to 7pm. I ain't going to go, but thought someone else might enjoy it (I think there are a few Southern California people close enough...?)

Lavender legos? Nice.

My kid is getting closer and closer to Lego age. There's a huge box in the attic waiting for him.

I kind of wish I had kept mine for that reason...but I donated them to a group home for kids. Legos are a blast.
