I don't know why he's picking a running mate. Fucking moron. It's obviously he'd only win in a contested convention, which if they do that, Trump will most likely run independent, and who knows, maybe Sanders will as well. Maybe we could have a fucking independent win for once.

Trump has managed to paint Cruz as "establishment" and is coming off strong wins in six primaries in a row. The Cruz camp is frantically trying to reup their "anti-establishment" cred. It's a clumsy kneejerk reac.
Fiorina is absolutely terrible. She actually manages to be less likable than Cruz.
(for the record, "likability" isn't all important to politics. "Unlikable" candidates can rock it, if they have experience and positions that gel with voters. Fiorina has neither political experience, has never won an election, and has no positions whatsoever besides "I'm not Hillary Clinton")

Fiorina's claim to fame is running Hewlett-Packard into the ground when she was CEO. Possible even less of a qualification than Jackie Spier, who got elected originally because she was Leo Ryan's assistant and got shot at Jonestown.
