Damn, that's a pretty bass. Does the ashtray get in the way? I love playing right up on top of the bridge pickup, it seems like the ashtray would be a little restricting.

I play over the neck or between the neck and neck pup so it's plenty out of the way for me. I'd rather leave it on too as the badass bridge kinda ruins the vintage look, this way I get the looks and the quality bridge.

This Hondo bass I picked up is so gnarly. The E string is thumpy and the rest of it is bright and aggressive.
& it's so lil' & cute compared to my Fender. Gotta switch out those knobs, though.

80's Ibanez Roadstar 2 RB850
The battery in the CM-2 is being wonky, any suggestions? It's a new battery, and it doesn't look like anything is wrong with the wires for the battery clip...
