I think we've covered this. What women don't have in finger length, they make up for in strength and dexterity.

Fact: Girls get better at guitar by masturbating. Unfortunately, guys don't.

Government lowered the sales tax on houses retroactively from 6% to 2% for a year starting June 15th to help boost the horrendous housing market. Not sold that this will actually help much and I wish they'd force the high incomes out of the rent controlled houses as a boost instead. Then again my place has been up for sale for about a year now and have only had 1 visit for it. So every little bit that could help is a good thing.

You know.. I find it amazing considering that ^ that where I work has gotten so much fucking work in the last 8 months. Everything we make is for new homes. All the builders though have this idea that wood shutters are a sales tool or something and I swear I spend more time making fucking shutters then anything else... I think I have like 30+ pairs due on the 12th :wha?: plus all the other crap we have to build :idk:

Give me a minute to process the horror that is wooden shutters.

New homes are still selling well enough that there's a whole bunch of them being built. Part of it is that you commit to one and it'll be ready in about 2 years, which most people think is enough time to sell their current place. Some projects offer to buy up your old home at 90% market value when the project is done and yours hasn't sold. It's only been offered on places selling for over $400k, which I can't afford, but that would help seal the deal for me. The other is that you get to pick your floor, kitchen, bathroom et all, whereas with buying an existing one you have to find one that you like since you probably can't afford to get it remodeled to your liking.

Btw, how'd your overtime/workload/idiot manager situation play out?

He had to bust his ass to get that shit done is what happened  This week did some OT, today were where suppose to but didn't :idk: Owners son is now helping in the shop... he seems to be doing ok. What I am finding out that really sucks [i.e. the more people we keep adding] is being a lead... I'm in the middle so I have to deal with everyone in the shop's bullshit  There is more, but I'll post it in the other thread later...
