So I'm doing a car delivery to South Bend soon, and I am going to visit Chicago just for fun, any recommendations on cool places I should see while there?

I am a big fan of Lou Malnati's deep dish and make a point to get some whenever I'm in town.

Chicago Music Exchange is worth a visit. you'll probably be able to check out most any kind of electric guitar you're curious about.

Only guitar I'm truly burning for right now is a The Paul with P90s (it doesn't exist, I know), I might have to settle for a The Paul with Fralin humbucker sized p90s. I have found I am terrible at building set neck guitars. Plus, I get that they're a physical location and have to mark up, but I'm not a huge fan of the inflation they've caused on gear since they started Reverb.

My friend has begged me to doing a grab bag at a place called Dusty Grooves.

i wasn't suggesting that you buy from them, just that it can be an opportunity to check stuff out on their dime.

Quimbys is great if you like zines
The best deep dish is Giordanos spinach/mushroom
MCA is pretty decent (Museum of Contemporary Art)
If you’re at the Art Institute, walk over to Millennium Park to see the bean (polished stainless steel sculpture, it’s cool) aka Cloud Gate

You can just drop in at Electrical Audio? Maybe you know somebody there.

They do seem happy to do a tour if you contact in advance. It does drive business after all.

In light of this forum slowing down lately, I just want to say that this is the only fun community on the web and I'm glad it's here.

Big same. Ya boi has become less present as my band picks up steam, but I'm so so glad this place is still here man. So many memories, pedals, friends.

I Love Fuzz has left a big impact on me for sure. :)
