I joined a band! After about 4 years in the bedroom wilderness with occasional jamming with a few friends I decided to get back into the game. It's pretty neat, if they say it's cool I'll post up some demos here or in the music thread later in the week. And if any Seattle area ILF'ers need a band on their bill shoot me a PM.

hah. love playing live. shit was a blast. with just me and Paul, we fucked up HARD on a change in two songs, easy to cover it. i could tell he was thinking somewhere else on one, he got that i was gonna go wibbledy on the other.

I may need to make a decision in the next few days, and I'd like opinions...

I have a Dr Bass 1260 which I love and have been wanting to find a mate for; I may have a choice between a Dr B 112LF, which would give me a clone of this stack (using that ad's pics solely for illustration...that's not the cab I'm talking about) or a Dr B 115 (same design as the 112, but a 15" Eminence Deltalight driver). I'm torn between the safe bet of the 112 (which is designed as a mate for my cab) and the 115 (which would essentially give me a modular 4-way stack).

Each cab has some minor extenuating circumstances attached to the sale, but nothing that can't be sorted out with each seller (and that may end up deciding for me which one I get, depending on how the sorting out is done/not done) but ignoring that bit and assuming that everything is basically equal, which would y'all choose?

I like it nice and neat so I would go with the 112LF. Not really any reason I can give other than the OSDness in me when it comes to my rig.

I came close to that Dr Bass stack. But I just couldn't swing that horrendous shipping. I snagged a fEARful 12sub instead. Gonna be pimping out my 15/6/1 in hopes that I can swap it for a 12/6/1 and cash and have a lovely fEARful stack.

Band stuff. Congrats on that, bro. I'm frustrated with mine. Supposedly in two bands but neither has gotten together in four months. We keep saying we will but people keep backing out because they're busy. Fuck shit. Balls. I have five kids and haven't backed out from being busy once. I mean. I'm not jazz band desperate. But I'm close.
