Yeah, I'm not completely happy unless I am in at least 3 different bands, preferably on different instruments. DangrxField satisfies my drum needs but I haven't been getting the bassercise I used to get on the regular, since Elephant Graveyard got buried. Time to change that.

this is pretty much what we always did. Or some old blanket or some shit. Set it a decent distance away. Usually worked out just fine.

We did this today at deafening volume and I used the usual cheap condenser mics and a scarlet 2i2. They were getting a bit blown out but I'm happy with how it came out. recorded improv jam for the Drone in the new year...
If all goes right and this guy buys my Hughes & Kettner, I'll be the lucky owner of a Green Minimat stack.

Thats what I do for a pop filter when recording vocals, I put a t shirt over the vocal mic. I don't know about the Zoom unit you are using but I got a Zoom Q2Hd the other day and used it in our practice space (10x20 climate controlled storage unit) and with it about 4 feet from the drumkit it picked up everything. I posted a link to one of the songs we recorded about 10 or so pages back.

Dig the video. What program are you using? I'd like to do that with some of our stuff but I only have Windows Movie Maker and I don't think it has that effect in it.

I've had this AVS4u thing for a while that's pretty easy to use. Its basically just an overlay that I made transparent.

I was gonna try to stay up on New Years to drone into it but then I fell asleep on the couch at 11:30. It KIND of makes me feel better that I was droning about for an hour or so BEFORE new years though... just tired

I set up in the space and put the Q2HD right in front of my cab. When getting ready to play I had my volume pedal down but not quite all the way heel down on accident and it started picking up some ham radio or some kind of signal with some guy talking. I didn't pay attention to what he was actually saying because I figured I'd just edit it out and start at the actual playing but when I listened back to it once I got home it was pretty creepy. Anyway, here's my jam. LP Standard > Ritual > Revelation Superbass > Timefactor > Soldano > Emperor 4x12s.
