For some reason I really like SG body shapes. I especially like the knock offs. Goes without saying but... I love them cheap (so Gibson ones are out). I really don't even need 1 more guitar... let alone starting an SG body collection. I think this has to do with being such a Frank Zappa fan (and my first LP was Apostrophe (') which has Zappa with his Baby Snakes SG right in the sleeve) at such an impressionable age.
Some of my Craigslist SG browsing highlights:
1. An SG Body with a strat style neck
2. Various interesting pickup configurations (Interesting = archaic "shitty" pickups from the 60s.)
3. This one did not happen but I would love to see an SG with a Jaguar style trem.
I really like SGs. I don't own a single one though.

One of the best looking SGs is this one:
Though I don't think I ll ever play it because I have never found an SG I liked all around. They sound awesome when doing some kind of stuff, but it's not an everyday guitar (to me).
I have had the same feeling about jaguars for a while, always loved the looks, never owned one. Maybe it's time.

I think some guild polaras had a strat-ish style headstock and the SG-ish body, I like this weirder ones (I like the thunderbird even more though).

I've been flirting with the idea of getting one of those KING double necks. KING is an off shoot of Cozart. You can get a double neck like below... with a hardshell case for $375 (and free shipping). Because I have no shame... I'm waiting for another B-Stock cause I've seen those go for $300.
I do not
need this. This is not practical. It just looks cool.

I don't disagree.
Like so many things in life... it seems like a great idea for me "in theory"... just not application. Couple that with apparently those knock off brands are actually made with decent maple (don't quote me... I read this on the comments of an expired posting) and I am not a very big person
I'll keep you posted in December if I get it.

It's mahogany. So 'slightly' lighter.

I would love a bass/guitar double neck. Maybe. Except not really
