representative democracy is not tenable as a form of government. a system which allows Hitler, Reagan, Thatcher, and Trump is not workable, and humans will never inform themselves enough or have sufficient empathy for others to make moral choices. the only option for forward development is a socialist dictatorship. Stalin was a monster, but he took the USSR from serfdom to rural electrification in only 20 years. hopefully that degree of carnage is not necessary, but if it is, i say bring it.
