As i chewed through a few of these, I started on the other gifts! check out that ILF wrapping paper! too rad!

So we've got a sweet packs of 11's, and two sexy ass mofo pedals in my favourite flavours! fuzz and phaser!


Whisky is a Jordan Bosstone-based fuzz, with some Paul Trombetta Devices (PTD) tricks largely extracted from the J Rockett WTF that Trombetta designed for them. "Oak" is a voltage sag control, which loosens the feel, furs up the texture, and closer to cranked gives access to the faux trombone sounds that the PTD stuff can deliver and general sub octave mayhem. sounds crazy!

The Spins is a clone of the out-of-production Lovetone Doppelganger phaser/vibrato, built on circuit boards made available to DIY-ers by Gigahearts_fx. This guy is all kinds of cool, dual LFO's aimed right at your dome, giving me the spins!

Hey, glad you like the goodies and happy to bring you into the fold! Now I get to stop worrying about the outgoing package and speculating about what could be coming my way.

And fingers crossed for the raffle, but, hey, that whole project is just , so it's gonna be awesome whoever wins!

Yeah I'm still on the fence about whether or not I should actually put myself in the draw for the raffle.

Almost got mine yesterday (I think). Durpy postman must have knocked on the door with his pinkie. Found a "sorry we missed you" card pushed through the letterbox, so it should be redelivered tomorrow.

Ok, so, my willpower sucks. Almost as badly as my ability to get a camera. I did not last until Friday. I do not have a way to take photographs.

But! Scott totally delivered. First thing's first: a pair of chapbook style pieces from Gordon Isnor, who has done a lot of things per some cursory Googling. Fantastic. V. Much enjoying "Honey Things Are Gonna Be Just Great at the Commune" at the moment while I dodge work, appropriately.

Then! the newest IRerror record (this one: https://irerror.bandcamp.com/album/hey-listen ) on tape. It is rad. I have driven at least one upstairs neighbor to drink with it. The other has left to gamble with my roommate, which means that volume considerations are not an issue. This is best.

Stomps! A Mtl. Asm Positive, which is a hotcake with what sounds like a mids toggle, and a Boss PS-2. The Hotcake is so, so good on guitar, but it also sounds amazing with drones synths etc. Totally Smitten with the PS-2, though. Like. TOTALLY. SMITTEN.

One cool thing about the PS-2 is that it has a tuner out. While you can use this to, uh, tune, whatever the fuck that means, you can also feed it into the input, which creates a pretty bitchin' self-contained signal that is easily manipulable because, hey, it's a pitch shifter and a delay.
