should try moving your mailbox. i hear those patterns can be deadly
No.
I think what you should do is dig a hole a bout three feet deep and two feet wide, get one of those concrete filled pipes used to stop cars, concrete that in the hole and set your mailbox on that. That way your mailbox will break the snowplow

So fucking sexy.
Oh man, that's nice. Never even knew about those.
Are those...HB2's? Does this mean I put a guitar pickup in my bass? Or are there separate versions?
It is a mystery.

Probably why I like em,...cousins to the 400? series bass.
I tried to research the HB-2s,...but came up with mostly nill,..are they not desirable? To single coily?

I remember one review when they came out saying they were too humbucker sounding and not RIC enough or some crap....

Well we all know aesthetics trump sound hands down. You should build a 650d inspired guitar

First bass I build was 325 inspired... one of these days I want to get ric pickups and maby a thoughneck and rebuild it

But.. now that you bring it up.. I had a idea a long time ago for a punkish take on the 325 or 650 for a guitar... idea was bolt-on and with just the bridge pickup

They're pretty bassy. There's more low to it than with a Model J. I guess you could say it sounds P-like, but it does still have that "honky" type of Ric pickup sound. "Honky"...dunno if that's the word. Whatever. It's not a super high-output pickup.
The only information I could find on the HB2 is a simple labeling diagram of the wires. When you buy one, you really just get the pickup and screws.

love the sound, can totally use them... but i hate them, because these are the most annoying effects to put on a pedalboard
where the FUCK should i put it?! I need to have at least two stompboxes BEFORE the fucking wah pedal... but then there's this stupid wah pedal in my way to switch them on without any problems
they should be called fuck pedals
i have a similar dilemma with my volume pedal, which needs to insert after the fuzz array but before the delay so i can do swells into the echo without affecting the response of the fuzz/distortion boxes. i use metal 90-degree 1/4" plug adapters like these:

placed at the pedals' output and input points where the volume pedal needs to insert. then i can use relatively short (2 foot-3 foot) cables to connect the volume pedal, which i place to the right of the board. these patch points also allow me to patch the volume pedal out when i'm not using it, and to remove the volume pedal easily for packing and transport.

fitting pedals on my board is starting to be a major hassle. When I only had two, I bought a straight 3" patch, now I still have it, but it's the most inconvenient thing on earth. I also hate pedals that have their Input/Output jacks on the top.
