And my temper tantrum about that cab deal falling apart has now been erased from my thoughts; I now have a choice between a Dr B 112 or 115 (from different sellers)...I'm seriously thinking about the 15. It's weird...I spend about three years looking for a mate for mine w/zero luck, and then Dr B cabs are all over the pages @ TB. Seriously, I've never seen so many Dr B cabs listed at the same time.

So I've been meeting with my think tank.....Delta.....and I....kinda a long story but the gist is that I was thinking about getting a Radial Tonebender Dragster to put in front of my chain to drop the impedance from my Status to where it's more fuzz friendly. The sad part of that would be it would STILL be there and on even when using effects where I want my tone unaltered (like reverb or phrase looper or stuff like that). So now I'm kinda thinking about getting a preamp bypass put into my Status. I can flip it on passive when using effects that don't do well with active and keep it on active when not. We'll see where this takes me.

I think every active should have a passive option. My 004 sounds HUGE when passive thru my Trace rig.

Run your pickups passive, rip out the preamp and put it in a Behndy approved etched enclosure. Run that first in your chain.
