:joy: :omg: :!!!:

uh oh, another project  Luckily you can built it yourself and they are relatively inexpensive to build. Do you mean ring mod AND phaser? ;) I'm still working on figuring out a way to pick up a 104m or 104z then onto finding a Prodigy or Rogue....

There is a Prodigy on Ebay for $850 :!!!:

Also, yeah. I'm thinking the next 'fooger will be the Ring, followed by the Phaser. Both have LFO out which will be awesome for sweeping the oscillator on the FreqBox :!!!:

And I'm thinking of just buying another enclosure of the same size and making a few more multiples and the additional attenuators. I think it would be easier than finding a larger enclosure and trying to rehouse the already existing one. I DO have a sloped Lovetone-style enclosure that is empty and has plenty of holes in it already I could use :!!!: !!!!!

Yeah.... about that.... kinda broke at the moment....

Nice!! utilizing the LFO is the best part about the moogerfoogers and with a bigger attenuation box imagine the sick stuff you could do....

Keep the smaller one and build a bigger one, and a lovetone enclosure sounds perfect for matching up with a bunch of foogers.... do it!!

I feel you on being broke man...

And yeah dude. Between Envelope outputs and the LFO outputs, the possibilities are AWESOME. I love the chaos of the Envelope outs, but LFO out will be really nice. I think eventually I'll splurge on a Copilot broadcast to patch into them as well for additional LFO craziness :!!!:

2nd day of 2013 bass board!

Post by vrom »

The El Oso and Dispatch Master are today's new editions, so I can't comment on then just yet, although the Dispatch Master looks like a little snowball on my board!

in > Schism > B3K > Dispatch Master > Submarine Designer > BMC > out
schism ch1: Bluebeard > El Oso > Tall Font Russian (lowfreq fuzz/distortion, fuzzy mids, screamy harmonics)
schism ch2: Unpleasant Surprise > Bottom Feeder > Faye Sing (gated fuzz, angry electric duck)

Submarine is always on and adjusted according to what ever other effects are on, usually it's set to SUB.
Black dual-switch above the Schism is the M9's Eq/Mute control. The Eq is currently set to a huge low-freq boost and mid scoop. Now that I can control this from my board I'm going to dial in something else, since the BMC is doing low-freq boost just fine on it's own.
Source Audio Dual Expression pedal (not shown) controls the Faye Sing sweep, and with the Surprise and Bottom Feeder, creates a wide range of gated fuzz flavors.

My favorite mix so far is
[(Bluebeard > Russian) / (Surprise > Bottom Feeder > Faye Sing)] + (B3K) + (Submarine) + (BMC)....adjusting the expression pedal to taste.
....nasty....

I'll try to put together some sound files and post em up this week.

I have a mix of super cheap Hosa patch cables and a Lava cables kit for the longer runs. I've had the same lava cables for like 5 years and no problems :idk:

Thanks!

Yeah, I have a love/hate relationship going on with the Lava cables

pros:
sound is noticeable better than any other cable I've tried, very clean, let's the whole signal through
easy hookup and customization of pedal board (when jacks are assemble right the first time)

cons:
signal cuts out completely or partially, but certainly randomly if not hooked up correctly
bitch to find the dead cable if not assembled correctly
expensive (@ $7 a jack)
never seem to have enough cable, and Lava charges for shipping.

assessment:
pros far outweigh the cons
learn to hook up the jacks properly and you never have a problem with them
use a rubber jar opener to tighten the jacks and they'll never come loose

It's been a while since I posted my board... No changes here from last time but some are coming. Nothing drastic though.

Heres a little demo of my using the Particle in LFO mode dealy through my hiwatt.
Its hard to get great sounds in my bedroom but it still sounds neat.
Thinking I need some mic preamps after monitors.

I liked this, I love my Particle but I've barely touched the freeze settings in any mode, nicely done.

Thanks man!
Been a wild time experimenting with it.
I got the Gegier Counter just a few days before the Particle. When I use both my brain hurts from trying to decide what to do.
