The problem I'm having is that it's not an aggressive enough tone and the neck is not nearly as fast playing as my Musicman basses were. All that could be strings. I dunno. New rounds and a proper set up, then I'll re-analyze. Otherwise I'm going to get a Rick or another Musicman. I'd get a Status but I don't want to feel like a Muse fanboi...heh.
Now that you're about 10 basses removed from that sweet 25th anniversary deal, do you regret it?

Uh Oh, I have come up with a reason why I could use a DI, recording live bass into my Octatrack so I can fuck those basslines up later.
My amp doesn't have one. Might think about a B7K.
