I think "fast-playing" is a combination of setup and neck smoooveness.
If you take some 0000 steel wool to the back of the neck, just to get rid of the gloss or finish buildup, it'll be smoother at least.

But really. Not being a TB doucher but I think the two biggest things to the aggressiveness would be in your plucking style and the strings you use. So yeah, new strings. I would recommend the Thomstik Infeld stuff or DR Bootzillas. Those things were aggressive and lasted months. So good. Using Circle Ks now but that's because I wanted something a tad smoother. And no fucking flats. To me, flats were always too smooth. Like dead strings. Like the jazz of strings. Bwahahaha. But I found them anti-aggressive. The way you have your pickups setup have a lot to do with it, too. Lower the action or raise the pickups....you just want the throbbing strings to be as close to the pickups as you can get them without getting buzz. Yes, I said throbbing. I wanted to make you moist. Your welcome. You can also look to reduce the lows and raise the upper mids. That helps the attack play out.

Well the problem is that not all strings fit the stupid Dingwall. That alone just fucking pisses me off beyond belief. I really, really like the tone of the Marcus Miller DR strings and I can't fucking use them!!!

Get some GHS Pressurewounds.

i am doing mp3 filing stuff.

i have like 200 or so gigs of music on my hard drive.

not only is that way too much for a portable player (my fone has 64 gigs), but that's full albums. when i choose the songs i like from each album, it gets down to about 25 gigs. but that means i've listened through each song and put a rating on the ones i like on each album so i can copy just those over.

bands i kinda liked, then like way more as time goes on, sometimes (like now) i'll load up the whole album, listen through, realize i like 9 of the 12 songs, and be all pissed at Past Ben for choosing poorly.

stoopid Past Ben. he's kinda an ass.

apparently he missed some of the finer points of Russian Circles. adding way more per album than i had.
