Re: The Video Game thread
Anyone here beat Beyond Good and Evil? The last boss is one of the absolute worst bosses I have ever fought, cheap and tedious. What a terrible way to cap off a great game

Re: The Video Game thread
While everyone else is galloping towards Skyrim, I just started Fallout: New Vegas...got it cheap off of the Steam sale last weekend, along with Limbo. For some-odd reason, my char is doing REALLY well with iron-sights...I'm usually not much of a fan of iron-sights, but this time is different; successful head-shots at 50, 60, 70 yards out with a 10mm pistol. I'm most likely gonna do what I've done with earlier BethSoft titles, as in - play the MQ thru and a few of the random side quests, and then start mod it out big-time.

Re: The Video Game thread
I got New Vegas for cheap on steam during the summer, put in around 20 hours then haven't played for at least a month... I enjoyed it quite a bit and didn't purposefully stop playing or anything, I should probably go back to it. I did forget to save and lose 30 minutes of progress regularly though...
I did like having ironsights rather than a crosshair, it adds to the whole survival feel of hardcore mode for me (and playing it not on hardcore mode would be ridiculous!).

Re: The Video Game thread
They always looked interesting to me but I've never played them. They're on my "should check that out if it's less than £5 on steam" list though.
That's pretty awesome! Thanks, I'll try to remember to grab it whenever I get round to finishing the game.

Note that it requires the NVSE to get it to work...if you've not had experience in modding BethSoft titles before, PM me and I'll explain the ins and outs of it all (it's not difficult, but it IS intricate and can royally screw up your game if it's done wrong).

I have a lot of experience modding morrowind, should be fine as long as it's similar to that I guess? From a brief look at the NVSE it looks fairly straightforward?

Re: The Video Game thread
JUST got around to playing Arkham Asylum. I've had it since it came out but always started, then quit, then restarted the entire game. So this time, my weekend was devoted to it. It was pretty damn fantastic
Is Arkham City just as good?
