My housemates have been a real bunch of cunts lately - so I thought I'd show them what 120 watts of Matamp built Orange sounds like for an hour. Those new Governors sure are LOUD.
Fuck you if you're going to wake me and Emily up EVERY night of the week, especially on my last 2 months of university, and smoke weed in the communal areas and leave refuse all over the fucking house, I am going to damage your hearing, arseholes.

OK so on the phone dude said they were unloaded and in a "slight wreck" condition. I told him no worries cause I have 8 16 ohm 12s I can toss in there and condition doesnt worry me to much bla bla bla. we agree on 130$ for the pair (unloaded in bad condition) unseen. I took a gamble. SOoOoOo when I got there and he showed me these I was like "ok so where are they ones im buying" he said "these are them dude 130$ and get them outta here."
KAY!

theyre loaded and in not too bad of shape. pair of sunn 4x12s for 130$! good sunday for me.
anyone got an idea of the year? no plates on these anywhere and the speakers are not labeled OR dated.

some of the speakers are toast in them. i might have like 5 good speakers. SO now the question is. . .
keep one with the sunn speakers in it and load the other with 4 swamp thangs? (swamp cab would be 16 ohms sunn cab will be 8)
OR load them with 2 16 ohm sunn speakers I already had and 6 swamps to make two 16 ohm cabs that can be daisy chained into an 8 ohm load?
pretty sure im gonna go with option 2 and have 5 or so 8 ohm sunn speakers for another 4x12 project when I can score an unloaded vintage marshall or just build a 4x12. . .
