There's actually a 3rd one under the top level w/ the power supplies and the turbo tuner.

The left EBjr is modded for expression (the right is a volume)

Expressionator #1 - A goes to Expressionator #2, B goes to Revolver, C goes to Expressionator #3
Expressionator #2 - A goes to Flint, B goes to Xerograph, C goes to Mobius
Expressionator #3 - A goes to Timeline, B goes to WET, C goes to Pitchfactor.

So, 1 expression pedal is controlling 7 pedals.

The gap is for the Second Voice Deluxe (should be here in a couple of weeks)... I can probably fit another expressionator down below, so I might send that to the range and a couple of the filters.

It never occurred to me to set up an expressionator that is not in immediate access but it makes sense. I am really interested to hear how you end up using it with the SV Deluxe. I could see myself getting a 3rd Expressionator just for it since it has 4 parameters to control potentially.

I don't think I've posted in here for a while. A few changes since last time, and my plan on simplifying my setup clearly has not worked out.

Looks simple enough to me.

Rad pedal>Rad pedal>Rad pedal>....

how do you like the madbean comp?

your cavedweller is so tiny

Thanks dude! It's become a science of trying to make it as simple as I can without getting rid of anything

Madbean comp is awesome dude. I modded it, but then realized the mod sucked, so I keep the 3rd knob all the way down. It essentially just takes low end away from your signal if you're into that sort of thing.

As far as compression goes, it's not super squishy, although it's got a bit of fluff to it. I feel that it tightens up my guitar a bit and helps retain a little more of the character of my pickups going through the rest of the board, and helps improve clarity as well. I guess you could say it's fairly transparent, as I leave it on 95% of the time.

And yeah, I was really surprised how much space I could save without doing the dual time mod. It's another footswitch and pot that I didn't have to worry about, so that cut a decent amount of space out of the pedal. Although I will admit to get it into the 125B enclosure it was a really decently tight squeeze. I wish the Madbean board had a spot for a standoff

skullservant wrote:Planned this out for a solid 4 days before I executed it, but I brought back my dual bypass looper and rewired it a bit. It's now got the Klon buffer at the beginning of the circuit, followed by the two bypass loops, and then the SHO at the end. So the signal goes PolyTune Mini -> Madbean Afterlife Compressor -> 1776 Rub A Dub Reverb -> ARC Gamut -> Looper -> Loop 1 (Big Muff) -> Loop 2 (Cave Dweller -> Rusty Box -> Shimverb) -> SHO -> Looper Board

My tone is BACK. No ass missing (TWSS) from my signal. I can get to my clean tone faster without tapdancing. Not pictured is the looper board, which will be DD7 (Long Phrases) -> DL4 (Initial ambience looping/half speed loops) -> RC2 (Programmed Drum Machine beats saved onto it to play over) -> AMP

Thanks dude :D ITS SO MUCH SIMPLER NOW. Doesn't look it, but two switches to my clean tone instead of 4!

Awesome!!! The buffer and SHO probably help quite a bit too, I'm all about having a nice clean boost at the end of your chain.

Yeah, it totally does. And I always used to accidentally hit the knobs on my Super Duper clone (and didn't really need the second boost) so it made a lot of sense to put this looper back on since I needed a TB loop anyways. The buffer was placed after the loops, but made my dirt sound like shit so I moved it to the front and now it's perfect!

A little problem solving goes a long way my friend! Good luck with the move!
