the thing that sucks though is I really like stacking everything with my monarch so I would have trouble unless I did Fuzz war/mantra/monarch/ and on the other side did reaper/rat/bukowski drive

then I would run a delay on one side trem on the other and bring them into a complete stereo section of the board

it also makes looping a mess

not sure I can pull it off

There ya go!!! You should make these as a Production pedal Skully, there's definitely a need for em and I'd imagine they'd be easy as stuffed animals to make! ;)

I don't think an LED would be necessary, either your dirts on and you hear it or not.

Well if you like stacking everything with the monarch you could always run Monarch > ABY > DUAL TB Loop pedal > respect a+b dirts. It would still require two pedals to turn it all off but it would be quicker than 3 or 6!

I'll definitely have to make a prototype of it to make sure it would work the way it's intended, but shouldn't/won't be hard at all to whip one up once I get settled in!

Signal Path:

Guitar -> Tuner->Freeze->Eterna-> El Cap-> Memory Boy to ABY.

Channel A: Black Forest-> Badascan -> DD6 ->Bluesky->DL4--------> Amp (Verellen Loucks)
Channel B: HM-2 -> Elements-> Rat King -> DD6 ->Bluesky->DL4 --------> Amp (Red Bear MKE120)

holy shit monkey
i didnt know anyone else
had a badascan on here
that circuit is cloned from my soul
or i was cloned from it
and your runnin a stereo rig
thats crazy
you definately got some more high end shit in there
its like my board grew up and got a real job
but essentially same idea
i runn both channels through the delay lab
after that have rrr on guitar amp
and another delay on the bass amp
you gotta try it
lemme know if im crazy

I used to bug Jero about making a two loop pedal with a loop over the whole thing umbrella style for this kind of action... You could have loop A on or loop B on the hit the third switch to put those into another loop with C...

I have it all drawn out and wouldn't be too hard to make...

do you tend to keep a clean side or is their always double dirt?

We do mostly double dirt. I switch to clean once in a while. Usually the BF and badascan are both on for the verellen, but the redbear is either the elements or the rat. So you know, when i have to turn off quickly, you see me scrambling to hit 3 pedals off super fast. usually i try to write my parts so i can turn things off in layers, but thats the one part i still have issues with.

the dual level part is a bit fun to deal with cause i have parts where i do some tap dancing to get everything going.

When I thought about doing a stereo rig i considered this problem, my thought was to have a stereo fx loop switcher pedal. Basically stereo in's to two separate fx loops and back out to stereo outs, with the FX loops being footswitchable and completely independant of each other. That way you could stick your dirt pedals in the loops and basically have a clean channel / dirt channel with one foot switch, no more tapdancing on three pedals to get clean. Just not sure how you could do it with one foot switch, so it might have to be two of them right next to each so its like one big footswitch.

:omg: Would buy in a heartbeat (as long as it's a small footprint....I don't know if you can tell, but real estate is a bit of an issue).

Hacken wrote:I like this ALOT! Dig the dirt part mostly but fuck, you did your brain thinking on this one. Nice!

hahaha. you should see the planning. I have it drawn out in boxes and shit. I had to make sure i had enough patch cables to pull it off. redrew it 3 or 4 times. My biggest regret is that I have the el cap v1, which doesn;t have the ability for stereo. (has 1 in, 2 out, but no stereo in).

The idea to do it came simply enough. I had the verellen and it loves fuzz pedals more than OD pedals. the redbear i got second, and it loves just about anything, but i loved the rat the most. depending on my mood, i was only bringing one to practice and it was always a pain in the ass swapping out the pedals, so i started saying to my self, "self" ( thats how i talk to myself) "you should just run them both at the same time.

Garth, That was a Haiku.

i know a few people that have the badascan. I am completely non-apologetically a fan-boy of BAT. Everything I own of his is amazing. The rest of the board has come together through trades/ this board/ selling other pedals ive tried and not used. It grows slowly. I'm now just waiting for either a phaser/flanger/ or chorus.

really liking this setup tonight
wired as follows
Reaper/arc/flash/freeze/feedback loop (in the loop 2nd Voice/DL10/PH3)/Hummingbird/RV-3/Rogue overdrive
The rogue overdrive adds great grit behind the delay and reacts strangely to the other dirt in a way I really like
took me a while to track one of these down, glad I did

Slight adjustment to the mini board. By itself, the mini board is totallys-metals...
Together with the big board is pure sonic fuzzstruction....
So good, and with the B3K and Faye Sing, so many fuzzstortion flavors to choose from. :!!!:

Still need to fill that empty space, but am totally broke for the next few weeks... lame.

PT-1
in (relay) > Schism > Disaster Transport > out (relay) > mini board
ch.1 - Bluebeard > Tall Font Russian
ch.2 - Unpleasant Surprise > Bottom Feeder > Faye Sing

Mini
in (relay/vol/mute) > BMC > B3K > Submarine Designer > out (relay/vol/mute)

The mute on the relay is after everything, so it's basically a kill switch.
The signal then goes directly to the empty jack, which will have a Pitchblack hooked up to it tomorrow.
