I'm guessing it was pulled to squash the possibility of a public debate. Cold hard truth is that forums aren't democracies, but are closer to dictatorships...the Powers That Be can do what they wish (not defending, just saying), but I do wonder about jt's posting excane's employment info like that.

Delta - john turner outed excane as being a repeat troll @ TB, posting his real name and employer info in a thread after banning him.

Yeah, I'd have to do a bit of research, but I'm pretty sure that they're not allowed to publicly publish the registration data you give them when signing up. At the very least, even the threat of a lawsuit makes it a really dumb thing for JT to do. If that thread had gone on much longer, it would have been quite the shit show. The response I was typing up was almost definitely going to get me banned as well.

i totally agree they can do what they want and say. it annoys me that they pull a shitbag mov like that and not only does no one call them out (i was about post 25 when i said i'm proud to consider 'Cane a friend and he's one of the more interesting people i know), but hey all jumped up to see how many could ride Turner's dick at the same time.

one sub doesn't matter to them with the traffic they have, but i WAS going to reup mine to sell some stuff. it's such a dirtbag way of acting i don't want to give them a dime of my money.

I don't remember providing employer info when I signed up there...jt, or someone, had to have done some googling to get that info...which doesn't excuse it.

And yeah...I was planning on dropping my paid sub there when it expires and giving Tom the money for here...this just helps that decision along.
