Been working on this the last few weeks - slow progress trying to make each added colour count. This is a shit photo taken with an old phone and cropped in PS. The actual thing is about 6 feet high and on an old cupboard door I found in the street in southern France.

Not quite finished but I'm getting bored staring at it so I thought I'd share it.

OOOOOOOOOOOOK. I've been making a lot of shit and not making any decent photos of it beyond the phone pics on my instagram. Here's some Buddhist imagery.....

These are four of the Five Wisdom Kings in Japanese esoteric Buddhism. The fifth is Fudo Myo-o, but I think I already posted him a while back. These paintings are all black and colored inks on 18x24" watercolor paper.

First is Gundari Myo-o, King of the South


Gozanze Myo-o, King of the East


Daitoku, King of the East


and Kongo Yasha, King of the North


This is Rahula, who is seen more in Tibetan Buddhism and more often (I think....) as "Rahu" in Hinduism. He rules luck, good and bad, and is the dude who eats the sun or moon, causing eclipses.
