Eh I would wait. If she hesitated, that could mean they'll break up soon enough and you'll be in a much better position to ask her out. And even then maybe give it some time? Dunno, being someone's rebound has never really worked too well for me...

If she peaces him out for you, chances are she'll be peacing you out for some other clown sooner or later.

Just my pessimistic view on that matter

My plan is to wait till the school year is over and tell her it was cool getting to know her some during the year and I'd like to hang out if she's ever up for it.

Maybe that's smooth and open-ended enough.

Just be blunt and tell her you'll give her a D if she gives you an A.

Ask her if she wants to do whippits and listen to Cephalotripsy.
