@Dandolin... I can't find your post on the Ring Stringer vs monobius but what I remember you writing about the sounds... we must have similar ears. I thought the same thing about the Ring Stringer.
EDIT: Found it. Was in the Tourbox thread. Point being, similar ears (probably why we align so many times on various genres of music), I thought the same thing about the Elta. I wanted to want it. Something just did not click enough to hit buy.

Also, Bode is partially responsible for the movie Uncle Buck. His son was the cinematographer (bunch of other movies too...but Uncle Buck is the new 23).

Yas, yas; this seems correct and perfectly cromulent :excellent: it's all a feedback loop :snax:

 I've always said those're the best lookin' ring mods. Almost worth it for the enclosure alone. get someone to build a better ring mod in there. :snax:

(Excellent frequency shifter info, lordgalvar! :thumb: )

Lots of purple Ring Worms out there this week (even everyone's favorite villians ProAudioStar & Prymaxe have 9 in stock each, but so do many other more reputable outlets), if anyone is still on the hunt 4 one :snax:

I must take a bleedin' guess the venn diagram of Way Huge devouts and ring mods do not intersect as much as Dunlop predicted (...for now?) :idk:  :hobbes:

Their limited editions are always kind of unknown quantities of "limited". Geisha Drive vs Overrated Special (1st run).

Plus, it was discontinued for a reason. And pretty easy to find second hand for a good price. Still glad they did the purple run though.

I’ve seen them go for pretty crazy cash on the flipper market. I thought they were somewhat hard to find.

Just looked on reverb. Several went under 100 and some in the 100-150 range. However, I was surprised how many went for 200+. That's crazy. Didn't know they were ever in demand haha.

I got mine at music go round or Sam Ash or something for like 80-90 a few years back.

I bought it and I love it. Played with both the planetoid and ringworm tuned separately last night. Real fun

Just joined the Purple Ringworm RI club and look forward to comparing it with my Moog Minifooger, Ringmaster, Gonkulator RI, MS-70 CDR, and Bitquest. Maybe all 6 can be chained together for some überklängin.
