Clinton is going to win and Julian Castro is her VP.
Clinton wins by an small (but not super-close) margin. Takes Florida and Ohio but loses Wisconsin.
That's my bet.
The Republican contest is not tied up. Trump is still way ahead in number of delegates. They have to have a contested convention in order for Cruz to be on the ballot unless he gets more delegates. Cruz won Wisconsin, which was was 36 delegates total he won. If he wins New York, he could be potentially stomping him, but if Trump wins, Cruz will be behind by over 300 delegates. I'd say that's far from a win at this point. LOL.
Also, Clinton is winning by 250 delegates and over 400 super delegates. At this point Sanders would have to win every single state left to stand a chance, which is sad, sad, sad.
I weep for this election. Trump or Cruz and Clinton. That's who it will be. Clinton won't be indicted of anything as many have hoped and I honestly believe she will be our next President. I don't think Trump or Cruz has a chance against her.

The republican delegate is tied up in the sense that none of them are going to show up at the convention with enough delegates to simply claim the nomination. It'll be brokered, and that doesn't favor Trump.

Well I'll agree with that.
I really, really hope they have another choice beside Cruz though. Like give me fucking anyone! Come on! Or de-establish the party and give me my moderate choice!!
Sanders is the only one at this point that could be a good president but I don't think he has a chance in hell.

Among my Republican friends this seems to be a pretty common theme.

From Facebook:
"I want to vote for Sanders but hes a Democrat so I can't."
I swear, I don't get why people have this two party system so fucking ingrained in them.

Sanders can still win for sure, don't listen to any speculation people have had, because most polls and predictions of his progress so far have turned to be wrong several times. Although if he wins it will be stressful and close

Well most polls have said Sanders would win in a general, so I guess I'll ignore that because "The Media" told me so and just assume he can't win.
I'm rooting for Bernie, but I understand why his message hasn't resonated with all Democrats and most of it has to do with his inflexibility in conveying that message and also the simple fact that he has been an independent for years.

Yeah, it's a messy election.

is because a large part of party line dems are actually conservatives and regressives, and they believe what the media tells them to

Don't get me wrong I'd vote for the neo Margret Thatcher and all her Reaganesque ways over Cruz, but I REALLY don't want to have to. Also from the exposure I've had to our local dems by playing their parties I don't consider most of the ones calling the shots and taking the notes to be very forward thinking

And at this point I am about 50/50 at if the neo Margret Thatcher and all her Reaganesque ways gets the nomination I might go to the Green Party

maybe..

The Democratic Party had the problem of winning complete control of the White House and congress in 2008 which allowed their message to dilute. We haven't had to fight for what our values really are in a consolidating way. Liberals are (hopefully) on their way to their own version of the Tea Party, but we're going to be smart and blame it on the party itself not the opposition for just being who they are.

I'm not sure that's exactly true w/r/t 2008. The GOP filibustered something like 500 bills since Obama was in office/over the last decade, and quite a few of those came in his first term.
