My bandmate gave me a bottle of scotch today that somebody else left at his place, and it is fucking me up right now. It's pretty expensive stuff, much more than I would spend on myself. Especially because I wouldn't buy scotch when I live in the birthplace of bourbon.
But jesus christ this stuff is hitting me hard. And this is my first post in this thread. Thanks, Scotland!

Does it taste/ smell a little bit like shoe leather ? (seriously)

It's pretty fucking smokey. The finish really reminded me of like a smoked ham.
I wouldn't call it shoe leather though. My girlfriend took one swig of it (mixed with ginger ale) and said it was the worst thing she's ever drank. So clearly it's subjective.

Personally I still prefer bourbon. But I need to try it a lot more to tell.

It's definitely intense. I couldn't drink it all the time. Feels and tastes like a very "manly" drink.
The manliness is partly attributed to the hammy flavor.

It's not the type of whiskey to drink when you're in the mood to just get drunk. Way too much flavor for that. Feels more like a drink alone at home to unwind/think about the day.

That about sums it up.

Its been a long, hot day out here. If there's a beer in this house, imma pour out a cold one.

Just sitting at my desk vaping some bubble hash for the first time. Using a dab kit I got for my Da Buddha. Works pretty fucking well with hash and it's pretty tasty too. Can't wait to use it with some wax later this week.

Three times I saw a coworker come up to this other dude I work with, do a sneaky "exchange" style handshake, pocket something and walk off after looking both ways.
