So tired of hearing things about privilege, especially from people that don't know your past. I seem to constantly have people who have had things way better than me talk about how privileged I am and that I don't understand how other people have it. And, the thing is, I am privileged. I know I am, and I even think that most people in the world are (although perhaps not in the ways many would think of it). Some more than others of course, but being part of one group or another doesn't mean you automatically have an awesome (or shit) life. It also doesn't mean that you get to have the things that are important to you - which may not be the things that people talk about when they talk about privilege. The idea however, of telling someone they're privileged, especially when (at least in regards to the things you're talking about) you're better off, is such a dick move.

That's true.

My cat is old and not doing well and it is soul-crushing.

Little bit bummed cause I haven't had any sort of cash to buy any new gear or really anything to trade for. But it's been nice to just sit and relax with the gear I have, I suppose.

Shitty dude, I love my cats. I've lost several in the past and it's always heart-wrenching.

On a less serious note, I'm dealing with an annoying ebay issue. I sold a pedal over a week ago, and the buyer (who I'm 99.99999999% sure is a member here) still hasn't paid or replied to any messages. I've even pm'd him here, so I know he read it, but nothing. I'm giving him until tomorrow and then I'm either going for the second chance offer on ebay or just putting it back up in the b/s/t here. What's baffling to me is that I've told him more than once that I'm cool with it if he needs more time to pay or simply wants to back out, just let me know what's up.

I remember the last time a cat didn't come home from the vet.

He was older than me and I hadn't known life without him ><
