Monday:
"Do this stuff. Deadline is next Tuesday."
"Ok, I'll have it in by Friday."

Wednesday:
"So our AD needs to start laying things out today..."

What the fuck insurance/hospital billing!?!?

I get a bill, send it to my insurance, get another bill a few months later for just a $25 copay. I pay that and a month later I get a bill for the copay and the original $1400 balance because my insurance didn't pay 100% of the balance because they don't have a contract with the hospital or some BS.

How am I getting a copay if I nobody else payed anything?

I was having a shitty, but quiet day. Finally got to go to lunch. Elevator full of overbearing co-workers spewing Monty Python quotes. Bile. All the bile in my body.

My boss forgot I'm going away tomorrow for 2 weeks, even though I have been reminding him constantly for the past month - I even reminded him 2 days ago. Now he's making a big deal about it as if he had no idea. I'm even going to be working remotely the majority of days that I'm there, so I don't see what the problem is.

Call your insurance provider.

Spent all night finishing an entire project for work. Just finished now at 7am. My boss can't possibly complain now. I just put us days ahead of schedule.

EDIT: I stand corrected. He decided to move up a deadline from next week to today. Had to work all day, and rush packing and stuff. I worked all night so I could avoid doing that.

Daylight savings is awesome!
Except when I'm working an overnight job...
& have to stay an extra hour...

Bummmmmer.

You get paid for the extra hour, right?

Like, you're not just going to get clocked for 8-3 or whatever.

Yeah that is an upside, but it doesn't make me feel much better about it hah. The impact of working overnights on my social life is becoming more and more apparent now, too. I've hooked up with a bike group that like to ride into the night and get drunk. There all like "hey lets all stop at Rite Aid and get beer before we go ride!" & I'm like "k gotta go to work bye." Bleh.

I could quit/change my schedule, but the job is pretty good as is the pay. So I'm just gonna be grumpy for now.
