so, Capitan Phlegmatic Practical Butts, do YOU think it's worth that price tag?

Worth it to me at $1500? No.

I didn't pay anywhere near that. BOOM. :joy:

And yes, for what I paid it was totally worth it.

If I had disposable income, anything would be worth it. Where am at, now, FUCK NO it ain't worth it. I have yet to come across a pedal that something that something else couldn't replicate. So fuck that jazz. And I'm not doing anything musically where this would really launch me and set me over the edge.

If I sold some of my pedals, a few basses, and money that's owed to me from a doucehbag I may have to bring to court.... maybe I'd think about a second one

Considering what you have multiples of ... I'd definitely trade those in for another Echoczar, though probably not at the prices of the listings you posted.

so.... i mean... i know the answer for me... but are they worth it?

Worth more than having a huge pile of unused pedals aboot. Plus they've retained their value quite well so far.

lulz. i LOVE my pile of unusededee stuff. gives me loots to lend out. WOOT.

fuck. so.... the Mobby's pretty badass. just for the pattern trem, crusher and am/fm shifting/modulation. and having song specif saved versions of each. i LIKE it. hell. we started a new somg based off a riff from the FM modulation shtuff.

also, REALLY good practice today. the last week and this one have just been picking apart the 5 songs we're trying to record this weekend. today was all about nailing through them with a click to Paul. felt goooood.

i am ESCITE.

Same. I'm sure the price and wait (Which I think I've changed my mind on after further thought) are easily justified for some but it just isn't for me right now. Maybe in 5 years.

Yeah I am kind of scared to open that can of worms. A few months ago I was I lose to starting one, I am glad that I waited. I am digging the Tempest, a few days ago I wasn't as much. I had to figure out a few work arounds but all and all I can see a TON of potential with it. I am probably going to get an Elektron A4 soon to work with the Tempest.
