madmax1012 wrote:the Lunar is a great looking pedal. Each one is glittered by hand, so you're never gonna see two identical ones. I've had a couple delays which I'll list now..

- Boss DD7
- Boss DD3
- Line 6 M9
- EHX Memory Toy
- EHX Memory Boy
- DOD DFX9

and then I ended up with the Lunar. It's definitely the most feature packed delay I've ever owned. If you're looking for a crystal clear delay sound so you can sound like the Edge, don't bother. It can get dirty VERY quickly, and the repeats have a little bit of dirt on them. In that sense however, it's an incredible sounding analog delay that's pretty versatile. it does great slapback, and can get pretty ambient, but I leave the long delays to the DFX9. i haven't had a chance to try out the fx loop on the LE, but I'm working on it. As a lot of people have said, it sits very nicely in the mix. it just sounds good at so many different settings. It's definitely the best analog I've owned, and I've played a few in stores and the Lunar is easily my favorite. That being said, it's probably not for everyone. It starts to oscillate very easily, and though I love it, you should look elsewhere if you're looking for a long, clear delay that specializes in dotted eighths and such.

thanks for that take. this delay junkie has / has had some other big guns but am still curious about the lunar...

I plan to add a few more fuzzes and a delay, but for now :excellent:
This board crushes everything in its path  , raping and pillaging while drinking the finest mead.

2 Bluebeard fuzzes in one box with series/parallel switching.
My number one fuzz for almost everything.
The Megalith is a close second for slow, dark drones.
