Yeah. Holy shit. I think like 8 of us were ready to pull the trigger on that.

If it ever goes to B/S/T it's gonna be a goddamn bidding war. haha.

Walked to the other room, showed it to my wife, came back and gone. Geez, I hope that listing was right and he does make them eventually. Totally excited for that thing.

Could be mine! I know the updated Magnetar is mine... Lol and maybe in a while you'll see an updated Frequency~LSD which will also be mine. Same circuit, just with a silkscreen. =^.^=

I have a Magnetar coming too! So excited! I was torn between that, a behemoth, and a bog beast, but I need a big synthy fuzz of death more than anything right now. Huge angry overdrive is next on my dirt agenda.

I've been blessed to trade for a Mountainking Hugebox II recently

Playing it with bass, Roto flats into a Trace Elliot 15" amp, I must say I don't find the filter as useful as I had hoped. I would have shifted the range much lower, because I don't find any tones with Filter above 9 o'clock useful or maybe even usable with bass - and the combo doesn't even have a horn speaker.

It's a different story with guitar, of course, where around 9 or 10 o'clock on the filter there are the best tones available, but still... the Filter should have been designed to have a different range in my opinion :idk:

Other than that, this pedal is really nice, keeps the low end quite intact and just roars with bass, mainly with chords, which is the application I mainly wanted it for. It's pretty gainy, had to have my pickups waxed because of it and it still feedbacks a lot, which might be a plus for some of you :D I do admit, I would appreciate internal gain pot to back it off just a tiny bit.

But despite both gain and filter comments, it's a really fun and great sounding pedal :)

I just picked up a Heavy Machine on eBay and I'm a little worried now reading that it lacks the lows.

I wouldn't be too worried. I've been messing with mine more and the lows are there. I think my signal chain was messing it up somehow. Lots of lows now.

Yeah, heavy machine brings the low end aplenty.

The only reason I didn't raise my bid was that I figured it was someone on ILF that I was bidding against.

I honestly wouldn't have been mad. I'm too broke for more pedals. IF I don't like it you've got dibs should you want them

Regarding my last post on the Huge Box II - I had no problem finding a sound I liked. I just find it funny I get it by putting the Filter knob in the extreme position for maximum filtering :D

If anyone want's a no frills massive pedal good for massive dirtortion/fuzz that still has a lot of clarity, totally get a Huge Box II. Great for bass players who like chords

So I got my Magnetar today and holy shit. This is definitely one of the best bass Fuzzes I've ever heard. I wish I had gotten one of these 2 years ago instead of pussyfooting around with two dozen other dirt boxes.

I won't say it's the end of my fuzz quest but as far as gigantic synthy aggressive bass tones go, this is it.
