NVCD; swapped my BFG-built nVidia 9800 GTX+ for an EVGA-built nVidia GTX 560...running Portal2 @ 1920x1080 with ALL the eye-candy cranked up to max at around 215 FPS w/V-sync off and card temps around 60/C; with V-sync on, frames are capped @ 60 FPS and card temps no higher than 54/C.

That's exactly why I didn't go for pacifist, I was sure I'd forget or screw it up and overwrite my save at some point.

Hah I guess I'll be a bit ticked if I don't get pacifist, but I am enjoying the game this way...if I played it like a shooter it would be a completely different game.

Hit the 2nd boss (the invisible lady in the computer room)...typhoon is a BEAST.
1 typhoon stunned her and I popped off a few headshots...she chased me around a bit after that and just suddenly dropped dead

So many games have come out in the past month it's pretty crazy

I didn't play it like a shooter, that'd be boring, I played it like I play MGS. It reminding me so much of MGS2/3 is basically why I loved it. Eventually I'll need to do the no alerts/no kills game like in MGS too.

And typhoon is friggin ridiculous, they may as well give you a "skip boss" button. Which honestly I would welcome, except the last boss fight, which is kinda rad.

Also, me and a friend got multiplayer BG2 working recently. We're playing through BG2 and ToB co-op, and it. is. amazing. This is seriously a dream we've had for at least 6 years.

Almost finished Amnesia in one go... i don't know if i'm too hardened/cynical/whatever, but i really wouldn't classify this as the scariest game ever...

probably just hardened but i remember how i tried o play the first Silent Hill a while back... didn't even finish... wasn't able to play much longer than an hour, than i just had to take a break

almost done Uncharted 3...so fucking good. now a homework break and then finishing up the last 3 chapters...probably picking up skyrim at some point this week

my little brother picked up SkyRim. game sounds like you're going down on god's asshole. creeps me out.

he's loving it, but he really REALLY liked Oblivion, i was kinda.... meh about it. i'll probably pick it up in a bit though.
